    This role in summary

     

    Whirlpool is currently seeking qualified candidates for a Analyst, Operation Production Supervisor. This is an onsite role at our Greenville, OH location.

     

    The Analyst, Operation/Production Supervisor is responsible for providing overall leadership to a team of hourly operators. This position will manage operation manpower, day-to-day operations, and support the assembly team. This position will ensure the day-to-day operations of assembly lines are run efficiently in the department. Critical to driving the operational goals in the assembly organization, this position will engage in open communications with other functions such as safety, quality, logistics, engineering and other production areas in the facility. This position will report in KASA Manufacturing.

     

    This position will lead assembly associates to achieve established safety, quality, delivery, cost, and engagement objectives in the department. Responsible for all labor, payroll, hourly evaluation, and employee issue resolution activities within the department. Duties include coordinating all activities to achieve business metrics and to implement World Class Manufacturing (WCM) processes in coordination with other WCM Plant Pillars. This includes a strong focus on 5S initiatives, and ensuring standard work is being performed on a daily basis in the assembly department. In addition, you will be assigned additional projects in your area of responsibility as well as support projects that are led by others in your department.

     

    Shift: 3rd Shift

     

    Hours: 11pm to 7am

     

    Will need to be flexible to move across shifts if needed

    Your responsibilities will include

    + Drive continuous improvement through utilization of World Class Manufacturing methodology

    + Lead a team in a manner consistent with the Whirlpool Values of respect, integrity, teamwork, the spirit of winning, and diversity with inclusion

    + Responsible for corrective/preventative actions in response to daily safety, product quality, and product delivery issues

    + Demonstrate leadership through the development of Team Leaders in the area to help drive daily work and long-term improvements

    + Assure all team members receive appropriate training relative to daily work assignments and plant operating procedures and policies

    + Conducts/participates in daily communication meetings with both the departmental teams and management teams

    Minimum requirements

    + High School Diploma or GED

    + 2+ years of experience in a Manufacturing environment

    + 2+ years of people leadership experience

    Preferred skills and experiences

    + Strong people leadership/supervisory experience

    + Strong understanding of Lean manufacturing techniques

    + World Class Manufacturing (WCM) experience is a plus

    + Experience with diversity of ideas, opinions, experiences, backgrounds, and perspectives needed to foster a competitive global business environment

    + Be able to resolve conflict in a respectful, confidential manner.

    + Flexibility and the ability to simultaneously manage multiple tasks

    + Self-motivation to identify, analyze and work to find solutions to day-to-day issues

    + Excellent organization, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills

    + Excellent problem-solving skills, and a strong work ethic

    + Ability to create, adhere, and accountability to uphold production processes

    + Proficient with key computer programs such as Google, SAP and timekeepingRSRWH
