We are seeking an experienced Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) professional to join our Engine Control Systems organization. In this high-visibility role, you will report directly to the Senior Manager of FP&A and serve as a key financial partner across all levels of the organization, including senior leadership. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to strategic decision-making while gaining broad exposure to the full spectrum of FP&A activities.
Success in this role requires strong analytical acumen, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
What You Will Do
+ Military Program Value Stream point of contact supporting CMS reports and communication with program office
+ Manages financial analysis, research, budgets, and forecasts to support annual and strategic business plans
+ Coordinate and lead Profit Assurance meetings, month-end and quarter-end financial reporting which includes variance analysis with program office
+ Ability to work closely with a cross functional team and provide timely and accurate financial data that helps drive appropriate business decisions and resolves issues.
+ Preparation of monthly account reconciliations
+ Ad hoc reporting/financial analysis as requested by management
+ Ensure 100% compliance with all financial and business controls and adherence to all Sarbanes-Oxley requirements including documentation and testing of business controls; Government accounting requirements, DCMA / DCAA audits and reporting requirements, and RTX internal audits.
Qualifications You Must Have
+ Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience **or** an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
Qualifications We Prefer
+ Program Finance/P&L experience - Military preferred
+ Fiscal close experience
+ Long Range Planning experience
+ Systems exposed to: SAP, Blackline, HFM and OneStream
+ Computer software skills in MS Office - Excel, PowerPoint and Word

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
