We are seeking an onsite **Program Supplier Quality Engineer** (PSQE) to support the Advanced Technology (AT) team.
The ideal candidate will have a dynamic mindset and the ability to influence peers and offer creative results to complex problems that arise during development efforts. The candidate will collaborate closely with all cross-functional teams including systems, electrical, mechanical, operations, supply chain, and systems integration and test to guarantee that mission goals and contractual requirements have been met within the supply base.
**This position is an onsite role in Tucson, Arizona** .
What You Will Do:
+ The Program Supplier Quality Engineer (PSQE) is the primary quality interface between Raytheon's organization and the external supply base. The SQE provides both communication of requirements and performance feedback to the supplier as well as being a conduit for Quality information back to internal functions within Raytheon.
+ Ensure flow down of product requirements both internally and to sub-tier suppliers through PO requirements, Quality Notes, and Statement of Works (SOWs).
+ Interpret supplier requirements to ensure the supply base understands and complies with these quality requirements.
+ Drive continuous product / process improvements of our supply base by identifying supplier risk & systemic performance issues and driving solutions through various tools/methodologies including: Root Cause Corrective Actions, Statistical/analytical improvement tools such as Six Sigma and Lean Methodologies.
+ Apply APQP processes related to supplier performance and implementation of necessary engagements to improve supplier manufacturing processes.
+ Can anticipate some travel (Up to 50%) to support supplier assessments, audits, reviews.
+ Represent quality during review boards covering changes to: supplier designs, process changes, qualification tests, and procedure reviews.
What You Will Learn:
+ Managing complex supplier base in variety of fields (Electrical, Mechanical, energetic, etc.)
+ Expanding APQP knowledge and execution experience
+ Engagement with critical external stakeholders i.e. DCMA.
Location Information:
The position primarily interfaces with both program teams in Tucson, AZ and CONUS suppliers. Some travel can be expected as part of this role (Up to 50%).

Qualifications You Must Have:
+ Typically Requires Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM).
+ 5 years’ experience in quality engineering, manufacturing, or related engineering experience.
+ Previous experience conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
+ Experience with one or more of the following Quality Management standards: ISO 9001, AS9100, AS9145, or MDA Assurance Provisions.
+ Previous experience interpretating schematic drawings and hardware inspection techniques.
+ Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date **with the ability to obtain program access after start** . U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
+ Six Sigma, Lean, and/or American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certification (CQE, CQM/OE, CSQE, CQA, CRE, etc.)
+ Proven successes in building and maintaining relationships with multiple suppliers/ customers.
+ Experience in DoD product and process oversight including requirements, build, integration, test, and delivery.
+ Experience in engineering, development, project planning, and collaborating remotely.
+ Working knowledge of ISO 9001/AS9100 quality management systems, AS9145 Requirements for APQP & PPAP, and FAI Standard AS9102.
+ Experience working with one or more of the following aerospace or commercial equivalent preventative tools – Statistical Process Control (SPC), Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Quality Function Deployment (QFD), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Lean Manufacturing, Control Plans, other process improvement tools
+ General knowledge of industry technical standards (such as ANSI, CMMI, ASTM, etc.)
+ Strong technical engineer with excellent communication skills that exhibits presence and influence and self-managed technical contributor.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
