SUMMARY

This position manages several teams of AutoZoners in the development, implementation, and support of AutoZone's existing and new software applications and hardware platforms. Works closely with business partners to ensure that new applications meet the practical needs of the company and with support teams to ensure operational stability.

RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Manages all the IT master contracts and statements of work

+ E stablishes standard rates and terms for repeat services

+ Assists with sourcing contingent workers .

+ As sists with establishing strategic relationships with key vendors to optimize AutoZone’s effectiveness and profitability .

+ Identifies resource management opportunities across the portfolio of IT projects

+ Works closely with the finance business partners to ensure that work is properly funded, reported and meets contractual obligations.

+ Com municates status of activities with teams, peers, management, and business partners

+ Es tablishes project governance standards and reporting

+ S elects, develops, and motivates assigned staff

REQUIREMENTS

+ Bachelor's degree in Business Administration

+ Typically requires ten to fifteen years experience based on consistently demonstrated capabilities.

+ Knowledge of MS Office.

+ Proficient knowledge of negotiating

+ People leadership/supervisory skills. Coaching and Mentoring are key components of this position.

+ Proficient knowledge of project management skills

+ Proficient knowledge of working with legal agreements and contracts

+ Technical skills may include experience with one or more of: UNIX, Linux, Windows, Cobol, Java, MS SQL, C, C++, Informix, Greenplum, Hadoop, ATG, QT4, Oracle, PostgreSQL, DB2/SQL, JCL, CSP, CICS, TCP/IP, Networking and LAN administration.
