    As the Director, Customer Data Governance at Autodesk, you will lead the Data Governance team within the GTM Data organization. You are responsible for developing and implementing data governance frameworks, policies, and standards to ensure the quality and integrity of enterprise data. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to evaluate GTM customer data scenarios, validation, and anomaly detection processes and ensure that data is consistently accurate and reliable.

    What You Will Do:

    + Oversee the development and implementation of data governance frameworks, policies, and standards

    + Manage and motivate multiple high performing teams while directing work through Senior Managers and Managers. Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members to ensure they achieve their individual and team goals and foster a culture of data stewardship and accountability

    + Establish and maintain data quality standards and monitor compliance with standards across GTM functions

    + Monitor and report on data governance metrics and identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions

    You have the ability to:

    + **Manage Teams:** Demonstrated ability to hire, lead, and inspire team members, foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture, and manage team dynamics effectively. Skilled in setting clear goals

    + **Orchestrate Customer-Identity Workflows:** Design deterministic + probabilistic stitching pipelines that resolve identities across POS, e‑commerce, app, and marketing systems while enforcing governance controls.

    + **Perform Deep Dive Analytics:** Use SQL, Python/R, and BI tools to surface segmentation, LTV, churn, and attribution insights that guide GTM strategy and product decisions.

    + **Govern Enterprise Customer Data APIs and Key Analytical Data Views:** Embed metadata, lineage, quality rules, and stewardship responsibilities into CI/CD pipelines; lead periodic audits and scorecards. Understand versioned REST/GraphQL interfaces and service‑level contracts that expose authoritative customer profiles to downstream apps, analytics, and CDPs and inform where they need to change.

    + **Lead Data Incident & RCA Processes:** Triage data‑quality breaks, coordinate cross‑team fixes, and implement preventive monitoring for identity, KPI, and feed integrity issues.

    + **Champion Data Stewardship Culture:** Create documentation and KPI dashboards that make data quality & usage transparent for business partners and engineering teams.

    Salary transparency

     

    Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $177,800 and $287,650. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
