    **Minimum Requirements:** High School Diploma or an Equivalent

    **Pay Ranges:** (rates will vary based on education, classroom type & length of assignment)

    + **Substitute Teachers: $90-$155/ day**

    + **Substitute Paraprofessionals: $11-12/ hour**

    Responsibilities:

    Assume duties of the classroom teacher in accordance with school district lesson plans, school rules, and Kelly policies. This includes:

     

    + Leading instruction in the classroom by conducting the teacher’s existing lesson plans covering various classroom topics and courses. Aides will work alongside a classroom teacher to achieve the above.

    + Building positive relationships with Students and Staff.

    + Assigning reasonable tasks and homework

    + Build a classroom environment that motivates student to learn, encourages classroom participation, and matches the education needs and interests of the students. Use a variety of teaching techniques to adapt to different learning styles.

    + For long-term assignments, it may be required to develop lessons plans, as well as build, coordinate, and grade tests and assignments
