    Please review the following job description:

    Resolves complex technical issues for Truist's business applications. As part of the Enterprise Monitoring team, duties will include configuring and administering Dynatrace.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

     

    1. Configure and administer Dynatrace.

    2. Provide on-call support as required to meet the business needs.

    3. Provide periodic reporting and metrics on the health of the overall system.

    4. Train IT product delivery teams on proper use of tools and capabilities.

    5. Perform problem tracking, diagnosis and root-cause analysis, replication, troubleshooting, and resolution for complex issues. In this capacity, perform programming and debugging activities.

    6. Respond to issues in a timely manner by receiving and investigating incidents or service tickets.

    7. Analyze and observe trends with technical issues and develops recommendations for long- term improvements.

    8. Document all relevant end-user interactions and steps taken to resolve incidents.

    9. Communicate status of issue resolution to internal customers.

    10. May engage and manage outside vendors.

    11. Apply in-depth knowledge of application support and an understanding of best practices.

    12. Assist with internal/external Risk and Audit inquiries related to Enterprise Monitoring

    13. Typically leads moderately complex projects and participates in larger, more complex initiatives.

    14. Solve complex technical and operational problems.

    15. Act as a resource for teammates with less experience.

    16. May have people management responsibilities for a small team.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Required Qualifications:

    1. Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience in development or application support or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

    2. In- depth knowledge in information systems and ability to identify, apply, and implement best practices.

    3. Understanding of key business processes and competitive strategies related to the IT function.

    4. Ability to plan and manage projects.

    5. Ability to solve complex problems by applying best practices.

    6. Ability to provide direction and mentor less experienced teammates.

    7. Ability to interpret and convey complex, difficult, or sensitive information.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    1. Bachelor's degree and 6 years of experience in development or application support or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

    2. Proven minimum of 3 years’ experience with Dynatrace monitoring.

    3. Current certification credentials in Dynatrace administration.

    4. Knowledge of monitoring cloud environments including AWS, Azure and GCP would be a bonus.

    5. Proven experience in application, network performance and availability monitoring.

    6. Experience developing and documenting best practices in developing and deploying monitoring tools in a large Enterprise.

    7. Proven experience in any scripting languages such as Unix Shell Scripting, Python, or PowerShell.

    8. In-depth knowledge in information systems and ability to identify, apply, and implement best practices.

    9. Understanding of key business processes and competitive strategies related to the IT function.

    10. Ability to plan and manage projects.

    11. Ability to solve complex problems by applying best practices.

    12. Ability to interpret and convey complex, difficult, or sensitive information.
