Job Summary
The responsability of the intern is to assist in various manufacturing departments. Supporting team's and taking away invaluable skills, industry knowledge and lasting memories. Knowledgeable mentors will provide guidance and coaching as you gain professional hands-on experience.
Job Responsibilities
• Assemble products using hand and power tools to position, align, and fasten parts and units into assemblies
and subassemblies
• Read bill of materials and interpret basic assembly prints
• Component prep
• Cleaning and preparing units and/or parts
• Delivering products throughout the facility
• Assist in maintaining the arrangement and organization of inventory
• Stocking and replenishing material
• Unpacking, counting, and organizing of materials
Knowledge/Skills/Experience
• These positions are entry-level and require minimal experience
• Must be motivated, organized, and possess good communication skills
• Able to work with minimal supervision
• Mechanical knowledge or aptitude preferred
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly
• Good hand dexterity
• Ability to read and write English
• Basic math and computer skills
Preferred Education/Certification
• Students currently enrolled as a Senior in High school or college students may apply
