Summary:

Meta's Building Maintenance Engineering is looking for an experienced and self-motivated individual who excels at working in a dynamic environment. This individual will collaborate closely with the Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) and facilities teams to ensure that the building operates at maximum efficiency while providing a safe working environment for everyone.

Required Skills:

Machine Tool and Facilities Specialist Responsibilities:

1. CNC machine tool maintenance and repair.

2. Troubleshooting and repairing machine tool mechanical systems including ballscrews, linear rails, guideways, and gearboxes.

3. Troubleshooting and repairing control and electrical system failures involving PLCs, HMIs, servo motors, servo amplifiers, input/output, and field sensors.

4. 3D Printer maintenance and repair.

5. Providing preventative and corrective maintenance on various complex 3D printers including Stratasys, HP, Carbon, and BMF.

6. Coordination and supervision of landing and commissioning tools.

7. Maintenance of pneumatic, electrical, plumbing, heating and air conditioning systems.

8. Preparing quarterly and annually machine tool maintenance programs.

9. Implementing preventive maintenance schedules for tools and building systems.

10. Proper handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals and hazardous materials.

11. Supporting EH&S teams on safety goals.

12. Supporting facilities teams with coordination and direction for trades contractors.

13. Consulting and advising facilities teams to minimize downtime.

Minimum Qualifications:

14. High school diploma or equivalency certificate.

15. 10+ years of experience in an industrial discipline operating or repairing machines, equipment, or facility systems.

16. Organizational and time management skills

17. Experience working independently and as part of a team

18. Experience reading and understand building schematics/plans

Preferred Qualifications:

19. 10+ years of maintenance technician experience.

20. 10+ years of experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical repair.

21. 10+ years of experience with one or more of the following CNC control systems: Yasda, Hermle, Kern, Haas, Fanuc, and Heidenhain.

22. Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.

23. 10+ years of experience as a maintenance technician or field service engineer.

24. Experience installing, aligning and commissioning 5 axis machines.

25. Experience adjusting CNC geometry components including – straightness, squareness, linear accuracy, servo tuning, tool center point control.

26. Experience using Renishaw calibration systems including Laser Interferometer and Ballbar.

27. Experience in the application & operation of precision machine tools in a prototyping manufacturing environment.

Public Compensation:

$84,000/year to $133,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
