Responsibilities

Patient Care:

+ Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.

+ Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.

+ Provide consultative services to other healthcare providers.

Quality Improvement:

+ Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.

+ Review and analyze clinical outcomes for continuous improvement.

+ Implement changes to enhance patient care and safety.

Compliance:

+ Adhere to ethical and legal standards in medical practice.

+ Stay informed about healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.

+ Participate in quality audits to ensure adherence to standards.

Qualifications

+ American Board Certified or Board Eligible in Specified Area of Medical Specialty

+ A valid and unrestricted state medical license or license-eligible

Overview

**CHI St Alexius** is hiring an **Emergency Medicine Advanced Practice Provider** (NP or PA) for weekend coverage at **Garrison Memorial Hospital** , critical access facility. This is an excellent opportunity to expand your skills and gain valuable experience treating patients of all ages in a dynamic emergency room setting.

**Opportunity** :

+ Join a team that consists of 1 physician and 4 APPs covering the following:

+ ​ED consults, triage, and medical care supported by Avel eCare telemedicine

+ IP hospital: Round, admit, and manage health needs of patients with a significant range of complex and co-morbid disease conditions

+ Unrestricted call/call back 8am Friday to 8am Monday or occasional holiday coverage

**Qualifications** :

+ Ability to obtain ND licensure

+ A Master's or Doctorate degree and certification by an accrediting body

+ Must have, or ability to obtain, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ATLS

+ Clinical experience in emergency medicine, urgent care and/or primary care with minimum of 2 years experience is preferred

CHI St. Alexius Health Garrison includes the services of a 22-bed critical access hospital, a 28-bed skilled nursing facility, an attached rural health clinic, and a newly remodeled Emergency Department that is available 24 hours a day. We offer many outpatient services, including physical therapy, radiology services, laboratory services, cardiac rehabilitation, and IV treatments. The hospital is equipped with 4 emergency rooms, on-site lab, radiology, CT and physical therapy services. Our patients have access to 24/7 emergency care, swing-bed programs, and acute care services. CHI St. Alexius Health Garrison is a National Health Service Corps provider participant.
