• Senior Dental Analyst, Pharmacy Department

    Healthfirst (NY)


    Duties & Responsibilities:

    + Conducts market research and understands members needs to ensure our current dental benefit remain competitive and sustainable.

    + Designs interactive dashboards that provide an at-a-glance view of key performance indicators (KPIs), member feedback based on appeals and grievances, utilization and spend across our Healthfirst products.

    + Creates visually appealing presentations that demonstrate data-driven insights to promote data driven decision making.

    + Builds a process to ensure the accuracy of our dental directory meets Healthfirst performance targets and/or compliance standards.

    + Creates oversight monitoring activities including the validation of reporting to ensure the dental vendor meets Healthfirst targets and/or compliance expectations on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.

    + Additional duties as assigned or necessary

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + Bachelors degree from an accredited institution or equivalent

    + Familiarity with programming languages such as SQL, Python or R

    + Experience with data visualization and reporting techniques using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar

    + Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

    + Demonstrated success analyzing large datasets

    + Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.

    + Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

    + Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    + Continuous learning mindset

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Experience in data analytics or consulting, preferably in the healthcare industry

    + 1+ years' of working experience with SQL

    + 1+ years' of working experience with Python

    + Knowledge of health care industry, systems, business strategies and products

    + Use advanced analytical tools and software for data analysis and modeling
