Job Summary and Qualifications

The Maintenance Tech, under the supervision of the management team, is responsible for performing corrective and preventive maintenance of all equipment assigned to Plant Operations and Maintenance.

Position Requirements:

1. Maintain equipment in top operating conditions and minimize breakdown of it.

2. Ensure that the aesthetic appearance of the hospital is maintained in satisfactory condition.

3. Must possess unique skills which foster cooperative working relationships, which promotes a positive image of the department to outside personnel.

4. Good verbal/written communication skills are essential.

5. Must be able to deal with physicians, nurses, and other hospital personnel in a professional manner at all times.

6. Must have effective working relationship with other hospital departments, partners, etc., awareness of cost and equipment used and control of hospital assets.

What qualifications you will need:

- Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current SC - South Carolina driver license is **Required**

- Education: High school diploma/GED is **Required**

- Previous facilities maintenance experience is **Required**
