Global Logistics Operations Coordinator
If you are a Logistics professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Copeland has an exciting opportunity for you! You will support Copeland Global Logistics strategic and operational initiatives. As a Global Logistics Operations Coordinator your activities include but not limited to data compilation & analytics, rate and contract management, as well as seeking business process improvement opportunities. If you have deep understanding of logistics as well as Oracle Transportation Management System (OTM) while possessing strong communication, analytical, and project management skills this opportunity is for you.
AS A GLOBAL LOGISTICS OPERATIONS COORDINATOR, YOU WILL:
+ Deliver cost savings via transportation spot bid processes
+ Global process owner for rate and accessorial loading.
+ Utilize data analytic tools to improve on-time delivery to Copeland’s manufacturing operations and customers.
+ Via Copeland’s Transportation Management system, support the operational management of Copeland’s cross dock network.
+ Manage Copeland’s Global Logistics Contracts via Copeland’s contract management tool. Use bullet points to make this section scannable and readable
+ Utilize data analytics to improve and automate routine business processes.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
+ Minimum 5 years’ experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain management.
+ High Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power Point, and Word software
+ Experience with Oracle Transportation Management is required.
+ Familiarity with transportation and supply chain concepts and systems.
+ Excellent interpersonal communication skills are essential. Including appropriate language skills to ensure proper communication with the global program management team (English) and local plant personnel.
+ Demonstrate competency in working and excelling in a team environment including the ability to interact and facilitate change across all levels of management within and outside the organization.
+ Strong project management skills including analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
+ Legal work authorization in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this role now or in the future.
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
+ Preferred 2 years of experience with data analytics (SQL, Python, VBA) to support workflow business process automation would be beneficial.
+ Knowledge of regional or local providers is desirable.
