    Job Description

    Work with department heads to assist with constructive and timely performance evaluations.

     

    Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, aptitude exams, and certifications.

     

    Assists in Recruiting, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers and recruiters to understand skills and competencies required for openings.

     

    Conducts weekly and bi-weekly payroll for all staff. Experience with Certified Payroll is not required but preferred.

     

    Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.

     

    Administer employee benefits programs and assist employees with benefits-related inquiries.

     

    Handles routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.

     

    Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.

     

    Maintain HR records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations in multiple states. Recommend best practices; review policies and practices to maintain compliance in all states that we have employees in.

     

    Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

    Working knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.

     

    Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, ADP Workforce Now, and related productivity software.

     

    Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.

    Education and Experience Requirements:

    Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.

     

    At least three-five years of human resource and/or benefits management experience preferred.

     

    PHR certification is preferred.

     

    At least two-three years of experience processing payroll

     

    Certified Payroll Experience Preferred. null
