Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a remote INTL Java Developer in India to support a Fortune 100 retail pharmacy company. This person will be joining a team that acts as a shared service for the organizations backend and cloud development. This team focuses on modernization efforts for the organizations retail store applications. We are looking for someone who is eager to be a team player and learn new things to grow within this team/organization.

Compensation:

$14/hr to $17/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401K retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements

-8+ years of Java development experience

-3+ years of experience working with Spring Boot, Nodejs, microservices

-Kafka experience

-Familiar with Cassandra and MongoDB databases

-Experience with XML/JSON and developing REST Services

-Experience in building API's using GraphQL

-Experience in any leading cloud platforms (GCP and GKE knowledge strongly preferred)

-Knowledge of cloud storage, cloud functions, postGRES, Grafana -Retail, ecommerce and/or pharmacy domain experience

-Reactive experience

-Extensive experience working within databases null
