• Remote Backend Software Engineer

    Job Description

    A large financial investment company is looking to hire a Backend Software Engineer to their investment technology organization. This person will be responsible for custom software engineering and development. This person will be working in a data heavy / date driven environment, so strong backend engineering experience is highly important. They will be working on efforts to convert SSIS code and ETL's to python. Good communication skills and teamwork are essential for this role. Core working hours are 8:00-5:00 PM PST.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    7+ years of experience in backend software engineering

     

    Expert level experience in SQL

     

    Strong experience with Python

     

    Experience with ETL's and stored procedures

     

    Experience working with complex SQL queries

     

    Strong experience with .NET C# programming

     

    Strong communication skills & teamwork Experience with SSIS

     

    Experience working in an AWS environment
