Our client, a leading technology firm, is seeking a Hadoop Administrator to join their team. As a Hadoop Administrator, you will be part of the Data Management team supporting various business initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

+ Provide support and maintenance for the Hadoop ecosystem, including HDFS, Yarn, Hive, and more.

+ Deploy and manage Hadoop clusters, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

+ Implement capacity planning and oversee the installation and configuration of hardware and software.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop Data Lake and Data Warehousing solutions.

+ Monitor and ensure compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

What's Needed?

+ Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

+ Intermediate experience in a Hadoop production environment.

+ Expert knowledge in at least four Hadoop ecosystem components such as HDFS, Yarn, Hive, and Spark.

+ Strong hands-on scripting experience in a Linux environment.

+ Ability to work effectively with application and infrastructure teams.
