Our client, a leader in the food manufacturing industry, is seeking a Manufacturing Procurement Specialist to join their team. As a Manufacturing Procurement Specialist, you will be part of the Research and Development department. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer service mindset, prior experience in a manufacturing environment, and proficiency in professional personal computing skills which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Manufacturing Procurement Specialist

**Location:** Bridgewater, NJ

What's the Job?

+ Ensure appropriate raw material ordering, receiving, and inventory management through SAP systems.

+ Issue Purchase Orders (POs) as needed.

+ Uphold all Food Safety, Food Quality, Occupational Safety, Health and Environment Policies for the site.

+ Support procurement requirements during regular business hours (i.e. 7 am to 3 pm).

+ Work onsite or in a hybrid model, contributing to a collaborative work environment.

What's Needed?

+ Strong customer service mindset.

+ Prior experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly in food manufacturing.

+ Experience conducting procurement for a manufacturing site, R&D office, or distribution center.

+ Highly competent in professional personal computing skills.

+ Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and experience utilizing SAP or similar enterprise resource planning software.
