Software Engineer – Senior (.NET Web Developer)

The team is seeking **one (1) Senior Software Engineer** with expertise in .NET web development to support a portfolio of custom-built, mission-critical web applications. The .NET Web Developer will work closely with internal and external partners to design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, and efficient solutions in support of the organization's enterprise operations and workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Perform full lifecycle development including planning, requirements analysis, system design, development, testing, deployment, and sustainment of .NET-based web applications.

+ Collaborate with both client and contractor teams to gather and refine technical requirements aligned to mission needs.

+ Design and implement dynamic, user-friendly UIs and RESTful services across diverse technology stacks.

+ Provide operations and maintenance (O&M) support to ensure applications remain secure, reliable, and performant.

+ Deploy and support web applications using IIS in production environments.

+ Contribute to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based infrastructure using AWS.

Required Skills and Experience:

+ U.S. Citizenship with Top Secret clearance and SCI eligibility

+ 8+ years of full-stack development experience with a focus on web applications

+ Strong hands-on experience with **ASP.NET Framework 4.x+** ; knowledge of **ASP.NET Core 3.x+** preferred

+ Proficient in **C#** and MVC frameworks such as **ASP.NET MVC**

+ Experience developing and maintaining web services using **WCF** and **Web API**

+ Solid UI development experience using **HTML, CSS, JavaScript** , and libraries such as:

+ jQuery, Vue.js, Node.js, Vuetify.js, Chart.js, Bootstrap

+ Telerik UI (Ajax), Kendo UI (preferred)

+ Strong experience with **SQL Server** , including:

+ Stored Procedures, Functions, PLSQL, and performance tuning

+ PostgreSQL experience is a plus

+ Experience with **AWS Cloud technologies** ; AWS Developer Certification preferred

+ Familiarity with deploying applications via **IIS (7.5+)**

+ Experience with version control systems: **SVN** , **TFS** , **Git/GitHub**

+ Basic experience with **Windows Server 2019+**

+ Exposure to **Docker** , DevOps practices, **GitLab** , **CI/CD** , and **Python**

+ Experience supporting enterprise systems with 24/7 availability requirements

+ Agile development experience with strong collaboration, time management, and problem-solving skills
