    Our client, a leader in the chemical manufacturing industry, is seeking a Process Engineer to join their team. As a Process Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, effective communication abilities, and a keen eagerness to learn, which will align successfully with the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Process Engineer

    **Location:** Salisbury, NC

    **Pay Range:** $27.00/hr

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Support the engineering team to verify and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) in the Distributed Control System (DCS).

    + Validate the accuracy of Bill of Materials in DCS versus Bill of Materials in SAP.

    + Assist the engineering team with the creation of new SOPs in DCS.

    + Maintain master data for operational efficiency.

    + Contribute to training operators on the use of DCS and digital tools.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + BS Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent, or a student in their last year of undergraduate or master's degree program.

    + Interest in working in a chemical manufacturing environment; experience with PLC and/or DCS control systems is a plus.

    + Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.

    + Eagerness to learn about different automation and digitalization systems.

    + Ability to work in both office settings and plant environments.
