• Controls System Engineer or Project Engineer

    Our client, a leader in the engineering sector, is seeking a Controls System Engineer or Project Engineer to join their team. As a Controls System Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting various project teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully with the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Controls System Engineer or Project Engineer

    **Location:** Concord, CA

    **Pay Range:** $150,000 - $160,000

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Lead the development, design, and implementation of control systems and strategies to optimize industrial processes.

    + Conduct field investigations to define project scope and requirements, ensuring alignment with project objectives.

    + Develop and review logic diagrams, cause-and-effect matrices, and functional narratives for control system design.

    + Collaborate on the design of control panel packages, field wiring diagrams, and other electrical and instrumentation deliverables.

    + Oversee field start-up activities, including troubleshooting support to ensure successful system commissioning and operational readiness.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering or a related field.

    + A minimum of five years of experience as a Controls System Engineer, with a focus on Honeywell DCS and/or Allen Bradley PLC.

    + Experience integrating control systems with hardware components such as sensors, actuators, and PLCs.

    + Strong ability to diagnose and resolve complex control system issues and optimize control strategies.

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective teamwork with cross-functional teams.
