T he Property Maintenance Technicians at the resort are a critical component of us being able to provide exceptional guest experiences. The glamping campground embodies the Lowcountry s authentic spirit, overflowing with cultural and historical richness. The Job: The Resort Property Maintenance Technician performs routine and preventative maintenance to maintain the physical integrity of the resort. They conduct site and building maintenance repairs and are responsible for cleanliness and upkeep of property grounds, facilities, streets, equipment, and various utility systems. The Maintenance Technician provides excellent customer service to guests and residents at all times and assist with site setups to ensure timely arrivals and departures of resort. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Carries out routine maintenance and minor repairs to rental homes, facilities, and streets as needed. Completes routine checklists of physical condition of resort sites prior to and after guest occupancy. Responsible for all landscaping and grounds maintenance. Including lawn manicuring, regularly treating weeds, remove leaves, plant flowers/shrubs, spread mulch/woodchips/stones, trims shrubs and hedges, tree limb maintenance, and performs other lawn care services as necessary. This includes a rigorous regimen of treating weeds, employing specialized chemicals to eradicate unwanted growth. · Ensure resort grounds are presentable and always inviting. Adheres to the company (CRR Hospitality) curb appeal standards. Such as; trash receptacles are emptied, and debris is picked up daily from common areas and streets. Maintains dog parks as needed including waste pick up, grounds keeping, fence maintenance and repair. Inspect and maintain all common areas and amenity areas at the resort. Resort amenities may include clubhouses, playgrounds, outdoor swimming pool and spa, tennis courts, pickle ball courts, resort offices, public restrooms, laundry areas, bath houses, and maintenance garage. Identify any maintenance and/or repairs needed and promptly resolve or report any issues to meet resort ground standards. Confirms all resort streets and public access routes are free of hazards and rocks. Sustains resort pool(s) maintenance and repairs including; test chemical levels, and adjust appropriately, ensure cleanliness, and repair where applicable. Maintains resort vehicles and equipment. Follow safety procedures while performing duties, including safely operating vehicles when moving from site to site and picking up supplies. We value our associates time and efforts! Education and Experience: · High school diploma or equivalent. · Related experience preferred. · On-the-job training offered. Physical Requirements: · Prolonged periods standing and walking. · Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces. · Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
