Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA)** is looking for an **Associate or Experienced Supplier Quality Engineer** to join our team in **Wichita, Kansas
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about problem solving, engaging with the production system, and doing complex data analysis. Quality Engineers supports existing production through process improvement techniques involving defect reduction, verification system design and improvements, and ensures compliance to requirements. Our quality engineers get involved in complex engineering and production challenges and have a critical role in the continuous improvement of our quality management system, products, and production system.

Position Responsibilities:
+ Represents Quality function on team activities to integrate contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements into all aspects of proposals and program processes and documentation.
+ Integrates contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements into all aspects of proposals and program processes and documentation.
+ Develops quality metrics, design and production certification plans to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements.
+ Conducts capability assessments and process validations to support supplier selection activities.
+ Participates in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs.
+ Performs analysis and process audits to ensure manufacturing and test readiness. Provides material review dispositions for non-conformances.
+ Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions.
+ Performs benchmarking and other forms of analysis to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved.
+ Works under general supervision.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
+ Bachelor’s degree or higher in an ABET accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, or related field
+ 1+ years of experience working in a quality job role
+ 1+ years of experience working with Quality Standards such as ISO9001, AS9100, ISO1400
+ 1+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications (e.g., blueprint/schematic reading, Boeing specifications (BAC), change, design)
+ 1+ years of experience in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data; summarizing findings; and developing conclusions
+ 1+ years of experience working with Quality and/or Safety Corrective Action/Preventive Action, Root Cause Corrective Action
+ Experience in a role that required strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
+ 3+ years of related work experience
+ Experience in the aerospace industry
+ Experience with risk assessment methodologies and experience in supplier audits (e.g., FMEA, system, product, and process audit assessment)
+ Experience, and at least considered an intermediate user, with office tools such Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
+ Experience with utilizing analytic skills: collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data; summarize findings; develop conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources
+ Experience with Advanced Product Quality Planning and Production Part Approval Process
+ Experience in various quality tools and processes such as inspection plans, control plans, and measurement system analysis (MSA)
+ Experience with Statistical Product Acceptance and review of supplier statistical plans
+ Experience with Engineering Process Improvement Methods: knowledge of producibility and process improvement methodologies (e.g., statistical process control (SPC), Six-Sigma)
+ Experience leading cross-functional teams
+ Ability to present technical findings to various levels of leadership

Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range for Level 2: $68,000 - $92,000
Summary pay range for Level 3: $82,450 - $111,550
