Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in Yonkers, New York. In this role, you will manage key financial processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all bookkeeping activities. Responsibilities:

• Handle all aspects of accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions.

• Perform regular bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.

• Prepare and process payroll, including tax filings and compliance with regulations.

• Conduct account reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial data.

• Support the month-end closing process by preparing necessary adjustments and reports.

• Generate financial reports and summaries to assist in decision-making processes.

• Input data accurately into financial systems, maintaining the integrity of records.

• Collaborate with team members to streamline bookkeeping processes and improve efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience in bookkeeping, with a strong understanding of financial principles.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial management and reporting.

• Solid knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation processes.

• Experience with payroll processing and associated compliance requirements.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record management.

• Familiarity with month-end closing procedures and account reconciliation.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.
