    Position: Senior Project Manager, IT

     

    Job Type: Temporary Contract

     

    Work Schedule: Onsite (80% or more)

     

    Hourly Rate: $100 per hour

     

    Travel: Occasionally (up to 5%)

     

    Overtime: None

    WPosition Summary

    We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage the lifecycle of strategic projects—focusing on consumer-facing websites, platforms, and enhancements—ensuring alignment with business goals while adhering to Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies like Agile and Waterfall. This position requires a high level of collaboration with internal teams, cross-functional stakeholders, and external vendors.

    eKey Responsibilities

    Project Management:

    + Lead enhancements to new or existing systems following SDLC methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).

    + Ensure timely delivery by managing project plans, tracking dependencies, monitoring risks, and addressing issues.

    + Provide progress reports and regular communication to business and IT stakeholders.

    + Maintain project documentation, including requirement backlogs and technical designs.

    Technical Coordination:

    + Collaborate with solution architects and technical leads to ensure robust technical designs.

    + Partner with the QA team to oversee test planning and execution.

    + Facilitate meetings with multiple stakeholders and prepare presentation materials for executive audiences.

    Team & Stakeholder Engagement:

    + Enable team efficiency by fostering collaboration, removing roadblocks, and supporting continuous improvement.

    + Work closely with Product Owners, developers, designers, QA teams, and other cross-functional partners.

    + Coordinate post-launch activities and address production system issues as needed.

    Agile Facilitation:

    + Serve as Scrum Master to guide Agile development processes.

    + Ensure the Product Owner’s backlog is visible, prioritized, and aligned with business goals.

    Requirements

    Required Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in IT, business management, or equivalent training and experience.

    + 3–5 years of experience as a Senior Project Manager for consumer-facing platforms involving complex data transactions or integrations.

    + Clear understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

    + Strong communication and negotiation skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.

    + Proficiency in using tools like Jira and Confluence for managing project artifacts and user stories.

    + Proficiency in PowerPoint for executive-level presentations.

    + Capable of multitasking, innovating, and delivering solutions with minimal oversight.

    + Experience managing cost plans and budgets.

    •Preferred Qualifications

    + Prior experience in the automotive industry.

    + Familiarity with Salesforce products and platforms.

    + Ability to coach Agile teams and consistently lead toward process improvements.

    + Strong problem-solving, communication, and facilitation skills.

    + Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
