Exciting Sr. Accountant Opportunity – Madison, WI (Hybrid!) 💼

What You'll Be Doing:

+ Manage project setup/close-out, revenue recognition, invoicing controls, and resolve complex billing issues

+ Prioritize workflow, maintain data for billing systems, and support invoicing processes

+ Perform month-end close activities, including revenue recognition, accruals, and GL tie-outs to comply with US GAAP standards (may require some weekend/holiday work)

+ Support and oversee financial audits (project- and customer-based) and ensure compliance with all financial policies and controls

+ Maintain cashflow projections, invoicing forecasts, and optimize working capital

+ Collaborate with credit and collections to ensure timely cash receipts and resolve payment delays

Requirements

What You Bring to the Table:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

+ 3-5 years of general accounting experience, strong GAAP

+ Problem-solving mindset with strong analytical skills

+ Leadership capabilities and collaborative spirit

+ Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
