    Job Summary

    We’re seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join a fast-paced environment on a temporary basis. This individual will manage high-volume invoice processing, ensure timely payments to vendors, and maintain accurate accounting records. The ideal candidate will have prior experience using Sage ERP software and thrive in a deadline-driven setting.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Process and code high volumes of invoices daily with accuracy and efficiency.

    + Review purchase orders and match invoices to ensure timeliness and compliance with company policies.

    + Utilize Sage (ERP) software for accounts payable processing, vendor setup, and reporting.

    + Investigate and resolve discrepancies with vendors, purchase orders, and payment terms.

    + Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate approvals and documentation for payments.

    + Perform vendor account reconciliation and manage aging schedules to maintain positive relationships.

    + Prepare weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers as needed.

    + Maintain organized and up-to-date files and documentation in compliance with company policies and audits.

    + Assist with month-end close processes, including accruals and accounts payable reporting

    Requirements

    + Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of accounts payable experience, with a focus on high-volume processing.

    + Technical Skills: Proficiency with Sage ERP systems (other ERP software may be considered).

    + Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and accounts payable processes.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) is highly desirable.

    + Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

    + Strong communication and interpersonal skills for vendor and internal collaboration.

    + Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
