Description We are looking for an Accounting Clerk to join our team in the Medical Devices industry, located in BROCKTON, Massachusetts. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be tasked with managing, processing, and recording accounts payable and receivable in addition to addressing any associated inquiries.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately processing accounts payable invoices and ensuring all necessary approvals are obtained.
• Managing accounts payable payments in a timely and efficient manner.
• Applying accounts receivable receipts within the business system.
• Ensuring the accuracy of customer credit records and resolving any discrepancies.
• Addressing and following up on any issues related to accounts receivable.
• Utilizing computer information systems for financial and accounting applications.
• Coordinating and organizing accounting tasks for maximum efficiency.
• Using Microsoft Office and other relevant software for data entry and invoice processing.
• Reconciling account discrepancies and ensuring all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
• Leveraging knowledge of QuickBooks, SAP, and Oracle for efficient financial management. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is necessary for managing and balancing financial records.
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is required for managing outgoing payments and invoices.
• Capable of handling Accounts Receivable (AR) to track and record incoming payments.
• Familiarity with Billing procedures to generate invoices and account statements.
• Data Entry skills are essential for inputting financial transactions into our internal databases.
• Experience in Invoice Processing to ensure that supplier invoices are accurate and paid in a timely manner.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for managing and analyzing financial data.
• Familiarity with Oracle financial software for managing business operations and customer relations.
• Experience with QuickBooks for managing sales, expenses, and keeping track of daily transactions.
• Knowledge of SAP for managing business operations and customer relations is a plus.
