    Job Description:

    GDIT is seeking a highly skilled and motivated **Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO)** to oversee and manage the security program for our cleared facility. The CPSO will ensure compliance with federal regulations, oversee personnel security processes, and safeguard classified information in accordance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM). Additional duties will include overseeing safety of non-Government owned SCITLS facilities to ensure smooth functioning of all building systems, manage vendor relationships, and create a safe, efficient, and productive environment for employees and visitors.

     

    Strategic Command Information Technology Logistics Support (SCITLS) provides the full spectrum of enterprise communications and information technology services to support the critical missions of the United States Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM). As one of the largest providers of enterprise-wide IT services in the Federal Government, GDIT’s extensive IT experience provides J6 leadership a unique opportunity to leverage our advanced technology integration experience to stabilize critical infrastructure and rapidly insert technology to accelerate optimization and modernization. It also allows J6 to leverage GDIT’s experience in reducing the technical complexity of USSTRATCOM’s Command and Control Facility (C2F).

    HOW A Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

    Serve as the primary point of contact for all facility security matters

     

    Implement and enforce security policies and procedures in compliance with the NISPOM, DCSA requirements, and other applicable government regulations

     

    Manage personnel security clearance processes, including initiating e-QIP packages, submitting background investigations, and tracking clearance statuses

     

    Conduct security training and briefings for employees, including initial, refresher, and specialized training

     

    Maintain and update security records, including DISS, and other government databases

     

    Act as the primary liaison with DCSA and other government agencies for inspections, audits, and correspondence

     

    In collaboration with GDIT Corporate Facilities team, oversee daily operations of the facility to ensure optimal functionality and safety

     

    In collaboration with GDIT Corporate Facilities team, coordinate suppliers and service providers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of services

     

    Handle emergency situations, such as equipment failures or weather-related events, to minimize operational downtime

     

    Assist the SCM with coordinating supplier visits on-site in Government owned facilities that require a Visitor Access Request (VAR)

     

    If required, responsible for all aspects of physical security for an ICD-705 accredited space

     

    Other duties as assigned

    WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

    • Required Experience: Bachelor's degree plus 5+ years of related experience. In lieu of degree, 9 yrs of related experience is required.

    • Required Technical Skills: Current experience with NISPOM, DCSA and other government regulations

    • Security Clearance Level: Must have Active Top Secret clearance and ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI.

    • Required Skills and Abilities: Experience with DISS database and other Federal government databases

    • Certification: If necessary, willingness to obtain ITIL v4 Foundation certification

    • Location: On Customer Site daily

    • Travel: Less than 10%

    The likely salary range for this position is $93,500 - $126,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
