Boeing South Carolina (BSC), is looking for a **787 Wire Design & Installation Engineer** (Associate, Experienced or Senior) with certification experience to join our team in North Charleston, South Carolina.

Position Responsibilities:

+ Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of all phases of the design process, ensuring high-quality outcomes at each stage.

+ Develop and maintain organized schedules to effectively manage design timelines and deliverables.

+ Work closely with the Electrical Design team to integrate electrical components seamlessly into overall design projects.

+ Liaise with external organizations throughout the program to ensure alignment and collaboration on design initiatives.

+ Apply knowledge of certification requirements to ensure that designs meet industry standards and regulatory compliance.

+ Add appropriate regulations and means of compliance (as well as MOC discussion) with guidance from E-UM.

+ Add functional hazard/system safety statement for each system-subsystem in the cert plan

+ Create delegation discussion for each system-subsystem in the cert plan Create deliverables that will be used in the showing of compliance, which include appropriate regulations, means of compliance, and deliverable discussion

+ Develop schedule for CP submittal, deliverables, tests, and project closure

Work Authorization:

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at North Charleston, SC.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

+ Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.

+ 2+ years of experience with wire design/wire harness installation and/or equipment installation.

+ 2+ years of experience with FAA and EASA regulations/certification

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

+ 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

+ 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

+ Experience working in the aerospace industry

+ Knowledge of FAA and EASA regulations

+ Experience in Model-Based Definition (CATIA V5 or higher, Solidworks, Siemens, NX), ENOVIA, and PDM

+ Experience using all the Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

+ Ability to quickly adapt to program tools and procedures

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business** **considerations.

Summary Pay Range:

+ Associate (level 2): $81,600 – $110,400

+ Experienced (level 3): $97,750 – $132,250

+ Senior (level 4): $119,850 - $162,150
