Description We are looking for a Senior Data Architect to join our team on a contract basis in Columbus, Ohio. This role focuses on designing and implementing robust data pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and APIs to enable seamless data integration and management. If you are passionate about optimizing data workflows and collaborating with diverse stakeholders, this position offers an excellent opportunity to advance your expertise in data engineering.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines to integrate data from various systems, including data lakes and application APIs.

• Leverage cloud services such as AWS S3, Redshift, Glue, and Lambda to build and manage data infrastructure.

• Ensure smooth data integration across systems and platforms to support organizational needs.

• Create and manage APIs to facilitate data access and integration with other applications.

• Implement best practices for data governance, quality, and security.

• Optimize data processing workflows for enhanced performance and scalability.

• Collaborate closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand and meet data requirements.

• Provide mentorship to less experienced data engineers and lead technical projects to successful completion. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• At least 5 to 8 years of experience in data engineering, focusing on cloud-based environments.

• Proficiency in AWS services such as S3, Redshift, Glue, and Lambda.

• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala.

• Experience with API development and data integration processes.

• Solid understanding of data management, governance, and quality best practices.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
