Description We are looking for a meticulous Data Entry Clerk to join our team in Glen Allen, Virginia. This Contract to Permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to utilize your organizational and technical skills to ensure accurate and efficient data management. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, a commitment to accuracy, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

• Input data from insurance documents into the designated workflow application, ensuring accuracy and compliance with business processing rules.

• Classify and organize documents while entering precise information into specific application fields.

• Maintain a monthly accuracy rate of at least 98% across the overall workload.

• Identify and escalate issues to team leads or supervisors as needed, following established escalation procedures.

• Update and correct data within the IT system according to defined business processing protocols.

• Manage account-specific information while maintaining a thorough understanding of processing requirements for assigned accounts.

• Regularly review and adhere to updated data entry instructions and business rules communicated via various formats.

• Consistently meet or exceed established production and quality standards.

• Verify completed work to ensure it is free of errors and duplicates before final submission.

• Foster collaborative and productive relationships with clients and team members. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in data entry or a similar role.

• Proficiency in 10-key typing and a strong typing speed with high accuracy.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and Word.

• Ability to organize files and manage information efficiently.

• Experience in email correspondence and effective communication.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform calculations accurately.

• Knowledge of scanning and document digitization processes.

• Proven ability to meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality.
