Job Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Data Entry Clerk with a focus on finance, your main responsibilities will include:
+ Data Management: Inputting, updating, and maintaining financial records with accuracy and efficiency in company databases and spreadsheets.
+ Documentation Review: Analyzing financial documents, invoices, receipts, and expense reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
+ Data Verification: Cross-referencing financial data to identify and correct discrepancies in reports, statements, and transactions.
+ Support Financial Operations: Assisting team members with finance-related administrative tasks, including generating reports and creating summaries of financial data.
+ Compliance: Ensuring data is managed in adherence to company and financial regulatory standards.
+ Confidentiality: Maintaining strict confidentiality of sensitive financial information and documentation.
+ Communication: Collaborating with finance team members and other departments to clarify information and resolve data-related issues.
Requirements
We’re searching for a detail-oriented candidate who meets the following criteria:
+ Experience Required:
+ Previous experience in data entry or an administrative role (required).
+ Background or familiarity with financial processes, such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, or bookkeeping (strongly preferred).
+ Technical Skills:
+ Proficiency in data entry software, spreadsheets (Microsoft Excel), and database management.
+ Familiarity with financial software (e.g., QuickBooks or similar programs) is a plus.
+ Key Skills and Attributes:
+ Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in managing data.
+ Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
+ Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
+ Education:
+ High school diploma or equivalent (required).
+ Associate’s degree or coursework in finance, accounting, or a related field (preferred).
+ Other Requirements:
