Your Daily Mission:🧠 Be the Month-End Maestro: Take the lead in preparing journal entries and orchestrating a seamless month-end close process.

•️ Assets in Check: Own the fixed asset schedules and ensure they’re updated with laser accuracy.

• Balance Mastermind: Perform and reconcile monthly balance sheets and bank accounts like a rockstar.

• Data Detective: Dive deep into general ledger accounts, ensuring transparency and precision.

• Payment Dynamo: Handle ACH and wire payments, ensuring deadlines are met with flawless execution.

• Financial Whiz: Prepare consolidated financial statements with clarity, insight, and polish.

• Reporting Ace: Deliver internal financial reports to store managers and management teams—keeping everyone aligned and informed.

• Question Answerer Extraordinaire: Research and interpret financial data to solve issues and answer accounting-related questions like Sherlock Holmes!

• Tax Guru: Take charge of sales tax filings across multiple states (think TX, AZ, CO, and beyond) with compliance confidence.

• Audit Pro: Assist in providing documentation for audits, inventory valuations, and bank examinations.

• Efficiency Champion: Build better processes, elevate operational workflows, and fuel company growth.

Requirements

What You're Bringing to the Party:📚 Brains & Know-How: Bachelor’s degree in accounting and 6+ years of superstar accounting experience.

• GAAP Expertise: Solid foundation in accounting principles and processes is non-negotiable!

• Excel Power User: Advanced mastery of Excel, turning those spreadsheets into works of art.

• Sharp and Detail-Oriented: Eye for detail, problem-solving savviness, and analytical brilliance.

•️ Communication MVP: Amazing written and verbal communication skills to make your ideas crystal clear.

• Pressure Player: Cool-headed and at your best when deadlines loom.

• Team Captain: You lead by example, inspire collaboration, and can take the reins in the Controller’s absence.

• Confidentiality Guardian: Discretion is key—and you’ve got it in spades.

Perks & Work Style:💼 Full-Time Hours, Full Impact: Approximately 40 hours a week—plus a little extra during crunch times like month-end, year-end, and audit prep.

• Your Weekday Sweet Spot: Clock in from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
