    Description

    We are opening a position for a Staff Accountant in Hollister, California, 95023, United States. As a Staff Accountant, your primary function will be to manage a variety of accounting tasks, including but not limited to, the processing of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), performing bank reconciliations, and maintaining the General Ledger.

    Responsibilities:

    • Overseeing and managing the entire Accounts Payable (AP) process.

    • Handling the Accounts Receivable (AR) functions, ensuring all invoices are issued and payments are recorded accurately.

    • Performing bank reconciliations on a regular basis to ensure financial accuracy.

    • Maintaining and updating the General Ledger as needed.

    • Preparing and posting Journal Entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.

    • Assisting with Month End Close activities.

    • Utilizing accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, or SAP to streamline accounting processes.

    Requirements

    • Proficiency with financial software, specifically NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP

    • Thorough understanding and experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes

    • Demonstrated ability to perform Bank Reconciliations

    • Solid knowledge of the General Ledger and its functions

    • Experience with creating and posting Journal Entries

    • Capability to manage Month End Close procedures

    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    • High level of accuracy and attention to detail

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
