    Description

    Robert Half is looking for a Receptionist who is articulate, resourceful, and skilled at managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. If you enjoy providing excellent customer service and thrive in a variety of administrative duties, this short-term contract / temporary position could be your next great opportunity. This role is based in the Fairfax, Virginia.

     

    + Answer and direct incoming calls with a friendly and professional demeanor

    + Greet visitors and ensure they are appropriately directed to the correct team member

    + Handle general office filing processes, maintaining organized and accessible records

    + Receive, review, and distribute incoming mail according to company procedures

    + Assist with administrative support overflow tasks, including word processing, data entry, and internet research

    + Order office and kitchen supplies as needed to ensure smooth daily operations

    + Create a welcoming environment for visitors

    Requirements

    + 1+ year of experience handling a multi-line phone system

    + Proven customer service and office administrative skills

    + Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment

    + Upbeat, resourceful, and tech-savvy with a strong solution-oriented approach

    + Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks

    + Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

    + Professional demeanor and ability to handle various office-related responsibilities

    + Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
