    Link Solutions is seeking a Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team at Fort Stewart, GA.

     

    + Must be a US Citizen

    + DoD Clearance required (Active or Interim)

    + Non-remote (relocation incentive available)

     

    The Database Administrator (DBA) will oversee the deployment, performance, and security of database systems supporting mission-critical applications at the Army’s Southeast Region Network Enterprise Center (RNEC). This role ensures database availability, disaster recovery readiness, and secure data access within a dynamic IT infrastructure. Ideal candidates will have deep experience managing Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases in secure environments, with a strong focus on compliance with DoD data handling policies.

    Job Responsibilities:

    + Install, configure, patch, and maintain SQL Server, Oracle, and PostgreSQL databases.

    + Monitor database performance and perform index tuning, optimization, and query analysis.

    + Develop and enforce backup/recovery procedures, ensuring disaster recovery compliance.

    + Manage database user access, roles, and encryption aligned with DoD STIGs.

    + Support the automation of database refresh and replication processes.

    + Maintain documentation on schema design, configurations, SOPs, and access controls.

    + US Citizen

    + Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.

    + IAT Level II Certification equivalent or higher per DoD 8570/DoD 8140 (CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security, CISSP, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, etc.).

    + Four (4+) years of hands-on DBA experience or related roles.

    + Experience with SQL Server and Oracle; familiarity with PostgreSQL/MySQL.

    + Proficient in PowerShell, Bash, and T-SQL scripting.

    + Experience with backup tools (e.g., Rubrik, NetBackup) and performance monitoring tools (e.g., OEM, SolarWinds DPA).

    + Knowledge of high-availability and disaster recovery solutions (e.g., AlwaysOn, Oracle RAC).

    Preferred:

    + Active DoD Security Clearance.

    + BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related IT field.

    + Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate.

    + Oracle Certified Professional (OCP).

    + ITIL Foundation.

    + Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment.

    + A problem solver and troubleshooter who thrives in resolving complex problems.

    + Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.

    + Superior organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
