Description

Join a leading construction firm as a Cost Analyst, where you’ll play an integral part in ensuring project financial health, driving profitability, and delivering operational efficiencies. This role is ideal for detail-oriented individuals passionate about analyzing cost structures and partnering with project managers.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Track and analyze project budgets, costs, and expenditures to ensure profitability and identify waste.

+ Partner with project managers to generate cost forecasts and establish project goals.

+ Create detailed reports on cost variances and performance metrics for senior leadership.

+ Conduct labor and material cost analysis, ensuring compliance with budgets and contracts.

+ Assist procurement and operations departments with vendor evaluations and strategies for reducing material costs.

+ Ensure financial data aligns with industry standards and company pricing policies.

+ Prepare weekly and monthly cost reports and recommend strategies for optimizing budgets.

Requirements

+ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Construction Management, or a related field.

+ At least 3-4 years of experience in cost analysis or a similar discipline.

+ Familiarity with construction accounting software like Procore, Sage, or Viewpoint.

+ Proficiency in creating reports and dashboards via Excel, Tableau, or similar tools.

+ Strong ability to present financial data to non-financial stakeholders effectively.
