Description

We are looking for a Senior Bookkeeper to join our team in Staten Island, New York. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in managing financial records, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining organized systems. This position requires a strong command of bookkeeping software and tools, along with excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks Online.

• Prepare and analyze financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Develop and apply advanced Excel formulas for efficient data management and reporting.

• Organize and update financial documentation to maintain streamlined processes.

• Ensure timely reconciliation of accounts, including bank and credit card statements.

• Collaborate with team members to address financial discrepancies and provide solutions.

• Support the preparation of tax filings and compliance-related documentation.

• Handle sensitive financial data with discretion and maintain confidentiality.

• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to provide financial insights.

Requirements • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online for bookkeeping and financial management.

• Strong knowledge of advanced Excel functions, including formulas and data analysis.

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Clear and precise communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Experience in managing financial records and ensuring their accuracy.

• Knowledge of account reconciliation and financial reporting processes.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when required.
