Description

Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Inside Sales Representative to provide direct support to Regional Sales Managers and actively contribute to the development and retention of existing and prospective customers. This role plays a vital part in driving team performance and achieving growth goals while adhering to company policies and maintaining compliance with applicable laws.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Build strong relationships with new and existing customers by offering product advice, technical support, and preparing quotations and sales orders.

+ Handle customer inquiries through phone, email, and other channels, ensuring data is accurately entered into company systems.

+ Maintain and enhance quality results by following company standards, troubleshooting issues, suggesting improved processes, and tracking identified problems.

+ Develop quotations in line with company policy, aligned with sales strategies and customer needs.

+ Seek opportunities to drive additional value for the department, demonstrating ownership and exploring innovative approaches to enhance job accomplishments while complying with company policies.

+ Propose complementary products or related items, explaining technical features, and adhering to ethical standards.

+ Stay up-to-date on product updates, developments, and industry trends relevant to the company’s operations.

+ Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams such as operations, CAD, shipping, sales (outside), finance, and management to ensure timely communication of customer updates, forecasts, and preparation of reports.

+ Source new sales opportunities through proactive outreach, including cold calls, emails, and follow-ups on inbound leads.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

+ BS degree preferred but require a High School Diploma or equivalent.

+ 2 - 4+ years of experience in sales (inside or outside).

+ Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to facilitate effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.

+ Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and ability to learn company-specific systems.

+ Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and high standards of customer service.

+ Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing assignments effectively within established guidelines.

+ Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and organizational capabilities.

+ Creative problem-solving mindset with a proactive and hardworking approach.

+ Current and valid driver’s license.
