Description
Financial services organization is seeking an experienced Technical Writer to join our team and play a vital role in transforming complex technical information into clear, concise, and engaging communications tailored for stakeholders such as independent risk management, audit, and regulatory bodies. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting accurate, comprehensive narratives that underscore our organization’s initiatives and compliance with relevant banking laws and regulations. This position is 100% remote so candidates from across the United States are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in technical writing, with a focus on complex data and regulatory compliance documentation in the banking industry.
Responsibilities:
+ Translate complex technical data and artifacts into clear, concise, and compelling narratives suitable for closing packages and responses to various stakeholders (including independent risk management, audit, and regulatory bodies).
+ Develop and deliver comprehensive written communications that effectively communicate complex information to diverse audiences.
+ Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency in all written materials.
+ Manage multiple, competing priorities, consistently meeting tight deadlines under pressure.
+ Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
+ Proactively identify and address potential communication challenges.
+ Maintain a thorough understanding of relevant laws, rules, and regulations governing banking operations.
+ Serve as a mentor and guide for less senior technical writers
Requirements
Qualifications:
+ 5+ years of experience in technical writing, with a focus on complex data and regulatory compliance documentation.
+ Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
+ Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading skills, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
+ Direct regulatory, legal, or audit experience is preferred; deep understanding of banking laws, rules, and regulations.
+ Strong experience in fraud and claims environments (highly preferred).

+ Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex information and present it in a clear, concise, and engaging manner.
