Description

We are in search of a Sr. Accountant to join our Communications team based in Monterey, California. The Sr. Accountant will be tasked with the efficient and accurate processing of account and balance sheet reconciliations, along with managing general ledger activities. This role also involves the use of different accounting software like NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee account reconciliation activities to ensure financial accuracy.

• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and rectify any discrepancies found.

• Oversee bank reconciliations to confirm all financial records are accurate.

• Maintain the general ledger and ensure all entries are accurate and up-to-date.

• Prepare journal entries as part of the organization's financial procedures.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for various financial tasks and reporting.

• Oversee month-end close processes to ensure timely financial reporting.

Requirements

• Possess extensive knowledge and experience in Account Reconciliation

• Proficiency in Balance Sheet Reconciliation

• Capability to perform Bank Reconciliations effectively

• Comprehensive understanding of General Ledger

• Ability to prepare and analyze Journal Entries

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for accounting purposes

• Experience with Month End Close processes

• Familiarity with NetSuite accounting software desired not required
