    Cognizant Technology Solutions is looking for **Senior .NET Production Support** to join in our team of IT professionals in a permanent role.     Role: Senior .NET Production Support

     

    Experience: 8+ years of strong experience

    Must Have Skills:

    • ASP.NET

    • MS SQL Server

    • MVC

    Responsibilities

    • At least 8 years of experience in production support, design, development, testing, deployment of applications using MS SQL Server, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, WCF, jQuery, AJAX, XML, NET WebForms, Entity Framework & Stored Procedures

    • Good knowledge on the Microsoft platform with expertise on .Net frameworks (4.0, 5.0) & .Net core.

    • Support Experience using ITSM Support tools Management like ServiceNow, or Service Cloud for tickets/Incident

    • Familiarity/experience in ITIL concepts, processes and fundamentals

    • Ready to work in Production Support and Maintenance Projects, Regular Support Activities - Ticket monitoring, Application monitoring, Incident Resolution, Request handling, etc.

    • Prior experience with Confluence and Control-M jobs.

    • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft office products.

    • Experience with end-user interactions in Teams and perform screenshare to assist with application related problems.

    • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills

    • Good understanding of Customer Support metrics and SLAs

    + Manage regular production support activities (tickets, monitoring, incident resolution, and request handling).

    + Use ITSM support tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Service Cloud) for incident and ticket management.

    + Monitor and maintain the health of applications in production, ensuring high availability.

    + Troubleshoot application-related incidents and resolve them in a timely manner.

    + Participate in the design, development, testing, and deployment of applications using technologies such as MS SQL Server, C#, ASP.NET MVC, WCF, jQuery, Ajax, XML, and Entity Framework.

    + Work with .NET Framework (4.0, 5.0) and .NET Core for application development and support.

    + Manage and schedule jobs using Control-M.

    + Provide end-user support, assist with troubleshooting via screen sharing, and resolve application-related issues.

    + Ensure compliance with support metrics and SLAs, handling priority incidents effectively.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless issue resolution and continuous improvement.

     

    Salary and Other Compensation

     

    The annual salary for this position is between depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
