    Job Overview:

    CSP Technician is responsible for the processing and distribution of supplies and equipment to all nursing care units, surgical services and ancillary areas.

    Qualifications:

    Required:

    + High School Diploma or GED

    + One year surgical or sterile processing experience

    Preferred:

    + Graduate from an approved Central Supply Program

    Certifications and Licenses Required:

    + Current sterile processing certification national or international

    Scheduling Requirements:

    + Shift working, Days

    + Per Diem

    + Weekend rotation required

    Essential Functions:

    + Responsible for decontamination of equipment

    + Disassembles, cleans, assembles, and sterilizes instrumentation

    + Must be conscientious with regard to procedures and capable of working under pressure and interact in professional manner with other departments within the hospital

    + Other duties as assigned
