Join Publix Technology as a Sr. Technical Project Manager where you will be responsible for managing multiple Network Engineering efforts.

Job Responsibilities:

+ Provide project management support for network engineering projects

+ Create project plans and manage project resources

+ Track purchases against budgets and financial reports

+ Deliver projects by working with network engineers, IT Delivery Managers (ITDMs), other IT team resources, contractors, and vendors

+ Foster and maintain working relationships with IT and business personnel

+ Provide project updates to the Network Engineering senior managers and ITDMs

Potential Annual Pay with Bonus:

Year End Bonus:

As a year-end bonus to associates, Publix issues one month’s extra pay (pro-rated in the first year) each year if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check that year. This is calculated as a 13th month of pay in the Potential Annual Pay with Bonus line above.

Required Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in computer science, project management or equivalent experience

+ 5+ years of project management experience

+ 5+ years of experience working in large enterprise networks

+ Experienced in using Microsoft Project, or similar project management tools

+ Good understanding of network engineering technologies

+ Experience working with cabling vendors and WAN/telco providers

+ Experience with compliance and regulatory security requirements (SOX, PCI)

+ Good understanding of System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies

+ Experience working in a process structured environment which includes change management, security vulnerability reviews and disaster recovery preparedness

+ Successful and proven track record of leading large-scale projects and extensive background in the planning of complex solutions

Preferred Qualifications:

+ 8+ years of project management experience

+ PMP certification

+ Excellent knowledge of network engineering technologies and solutions
