We are seeking an experienced Animal Care Attendant to join our team. At VCA Acacia Animal Hospital & Pet Resort, we take our mission statement – your pet’s health is our top priority and excellent service is our goal – very seriously. We’re looking for a personable yet highly professional “service extraordinaire” to join us in delivering our mission to our clients and their pets. VCA Acacia Animal Hospital and Pet Resort is a beautiful, large modern hospital with a big all species boarding facility. We have 4 doctors and specialists who work with our doctors to bring the best possible care to our patients. Our boarding and day camp facility is a very busy part of our practice with 15 to 30 day campers on any given day. We have experienced camp counselors who know

how to make camp fun for the dogs and safe at the same time.

The successful candidate will share our commitment to delivering exceptional service to our loyal clientele and the highest quality care to their boarded and hospitalized pets.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Working with the clients and CSR's to provide an amazing boarding experience for each pet.

• Working to help all doggie day camp participants enjoy their time with furry friends in the big yards and pools.

• Cleaning runs and suites and cattery.

• Feeding and caring for dogs, cats, birds and exotics.

• Walking dogs.

• Bathing dogs.

• Doing laundry.

• Cleaning and maintaining hospital premises.

• Learning about doggie day camp and day boarding.

Compensation: $16.75 -24.86*

* Pay dependent on experience
