    Wyo-Ben is growing and seeks experienced CDL Drivers to work at our Magnet Cove Bentonite plant.

    To qualify for an interview:

    + Must have the CDL Class A with endorsement for doubles and tankers.

    + Live within 50 miles of Greybull, WY.

    The main purpose and function of the Loader Operator is to operate haul trucks, trailers and front-end loader. May also be required to perform road maintenance including operating water trucks, pumps and road graders, as well as plant loader operations.

    Specific responsibilities may include:

    + Operating heavy equipment, haul trucks/trailers, and pumps.

    + Driving trucks

    + Operate feed hoopers and front-end loaders in an efficient manner.

    + Mix proper crude ore blends as directed by supervisor.

    + Maintain a steady quality feed rate of crude ore material to the grinding equipment.

    + Prevent product non-conformity by ensuring proper blend is mixed and communicate with dryer operator, Mill Lab, and Supervisor

    + Fill trucks when necessary.

    + Complete Pre/Post shift inspections, log loads, fuel equipment and road building/maintenance.

    + Maintain plant and field crude ore stockpiles and stockpile areas.

    + Maintain a safe, clean, environmentally sound work area.

    + Pass down instructions, blend changes, hazards to next operator or supervisor at end of shift.

    + Responsible for reporting safety, quality, environmental, and equipment concerns to supervisor.

    + Work under close supervision.

    + Give appropriate consideration to safety, quality, and environmental concerns.

    + Support and participate in the organization’s Continual Improvement Program to conform to API Specification Q1, 9th Edition requirements by complying with the Quality Policy and procedures and meeting QMS objectives.

    + Other duties as assigned.

    Requirements:

    EDUCATION AND TRAINING

    + Must have a current CDL with doubles and tanker endorsements.

    Experience:

    + Six (6) months to one (1) year of General Plant experience preferred.

    + Experience working in an API Specification Q1, 9th Edition environment a plus

    Knowledge and Skills:

    + Front end loader operation.

    + General mechanical knowledge of loader, crusher, and conveyance equipment.

    + Record keeping.

    + Basic math.

    + Peer-to-peer and interpersonal communication skills.

    Physical and Safety Requirements:

    + Reasonable accommodations are made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.

    + Frequently work alone.

    + Subject to dust and noise.

    + Ability to function under extreme weather conditions and focus for long periods of time under shift work conditions.

    + Frequently work around machinery and mobile equipment.

    + Frequent climbing of ladders on and off loader.

    + Sitting, bending, standing, walking, 8-10 hours per day.

    + Frequently lifts up to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 100 lbs.

    + Must comply with any safety or PPE requirements.

    Others:

    + Attention to detail.

    + Produce error-free work.

    + Deadline-oriented.

    + Self-starter who thinks of innovative, faster ways to accomplish tasks.

    + Work with minimal supervision.

    + Flexible and able to adapt to our dynamic environment.
