    Summary:

    Under general supervision, installs telecommunications network equipment at a customer site or at an organization location. Interprets service orders, circuit diagrams and electrical schematics. Installs, rearranges and removes telecommunications equipment and associated wiring. Verifies work order information and receipt of all necessary equipment and information. Also serves as the point of contact for users to receive support and maintenance with telecommunications equipment. Resolves telecommunication system failures through isolation, analysis, and troubleshooting of problem areas.

    What’s Required:

    Must have one of the following ( required):

    + Associate’s degree (preferably IS/Business or healthcare emphasis) with 2 years’ relevant experience (IS/Business or healthcare)

    + Bachelor’s degree (preferably IS/Business or healthcare emphasis)

    + 4 years in healthcare or IS/Business experience

     

    Technical Knowledge

     

    + Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office required .

    + Provide basic one-on-one education to users required.

    + Basic e lectronic background required .

    + Basic troubleshooting skills on communication systems required

    + Basic knowledge of downtime operations required

    + Blueprint reading required
