    Adecco is recruiting for a **Process Technician** for a client in **Cortland, NY.** This opportunity pays between **$27-35/hour** , depending on experience.

     

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Process Technician to support a plastics manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for setting up and maintaining the blow molding processes, including machine parameters, materials, molds, and quality inspections. The ideal candidate will help ensure consistent production quality and operational efficiency across all manufacturing shifts.

    Job Summary:

    The Process Technician provides technical support and process oversight for blow molding operations. This includes job changeovers, process adjustments, inspections, preventative maintenance, and collaboration with engineering and quality teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.

    Essential Job Functions:

    + Establish and maintain process control across all blow molding operations

    + Perform set-ups and changeovers during job transitions

    + Conduct visual and dimensional quality inspections

    + Perform preventative maintenance on molding equipment

    + Collaborate with the Shift Manager on engineering, quality, and process improvement projects

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    + Solid understanding of blow molding equipment and processes

    + Able to troubleshoot and optimize process parameters efficiently

    + Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, electronics, and mechanical systems preferred

    + Professional, efficient, and team-oriented work style

    + Committed to quality and continuous improvement

    Qualification Standards:

    + High school diploma or equivalent required

    + Minimum of 3 years' experience in continuous extrusion blow molding

    + Experience with Bekum, Automa, Rocheleau, or Fisher machines is a plus

    + Equivalent combinations of education and/or experience will be considered

    Supervisory Responsibilities:

    This position does not have direct reports but may temporarily fill in for the Shift Manager during absences.

     

    **Pay Details:** $27.00 to $35.00 per hour
