• Floor Technician - Behavioral Health - All shifts

    STG International (Milledgeville, GA)


    STGi is seeking a Floor Technician to provide services at our Georgia War Veterans Home. GWVH will be opening a new unit that will be dedicated to the needs related to diagnoses of Veterans with PTSD, TBI, history of behavioral disorders, and substance use issues.     JOB SUMMARY:

    Maintain or restore floors in highly trafficked areas.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    + Clean, maintain, and/or restore floor surfaces.

    + Sanitize highly-trafficked spaces which may contain biohazardous waste.

    + Even the gloss, polish, or sealant coating on surfaces with a cloth or specialized buffing tool.

    + Utilize industrial or commercial grade cleaning products or equipment.

    + Works in all areas of the facility.

    + Moves intermittently during working hours.

    + Is subject to hostile and emotionally upset residents, family members, personnel and visitors.

    + Communicates with maintenance personnel and other facility personnel.

    + Works beyond normal working hours and on weekends and holiday when necessary as well as in other positions as needed.

    + May be subject to the handling of and exposure to hazardous chemicals.

    Required SkillsRequired Experience

    + On the job training will be provided.

    + Effective English communication skills

    + Professional demeanor with resident community

    + 1 year experience

    + Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.

    REQUIRED EDUCATION:

    + Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or its equivalent

    NOTE:

    As part of orientation, selected candidates will receive safety care training.

     

    All shifts for Full-time and Part-time openings.

     

    This position is located at 2249 Vinson Highway SE, Milledgeville, GA.
